Cash Advance FAQ's
Q: How can merchants qualify for funding?
A: All merchants must have been in operation for a minimum of 4 months and have a minimum monthly Visa/MasterCard revenue of $5,000 verified by the previous 4 months processing statements. The merchant (or owner) must not be in bankruptcy, nor have any judgments and/or liens.
Q: What determines the amount of funding a merchant qualifies for?
A: We determine the amount of funding based on a merchant's monthly Visa/MasterCard volume.
Q: How does the merchant repay the advance?
A: We deduct a specified percentage of your daily Visa/MasterCard receipts through a specified credit card processor.
Q: Is it necessary for the merchant to switch its credit card processing?
A: Yes, but we aim to offer lower, or at least match the rates offered by your current credit card processor.
Q: How long does it take to repay the advance?
A: Since this is not a loan, there is no fixed repayment schedule. However, we typically purchase a percentage of up to six (6) months of future credit card receivables.
Q: Will the merchant be penalized if repayment takes longer than expected?
A: There is no penalty as long as the merchant remains in operation.
Q: Do I have to change my POS equipment and software?
A: No that is not required. Our processing partner supports virtually all types of credit car processing equipment and software.
Q: How long does it take for the merchant to receive funds?
A: Once we receive all documents, funds can be made available within one (1) week.
Q: Is it necessary for a merchant and/or its owners to have good credit?
A: Not necessarily. We utilize several criteria in our underwriting process. Collecting both personal and business credit information is key to properly assessing risk.
Q: At what point can merchants qualify for additional funding?
A: Current participants may qualify for additional funding at any time during the program.
Q: Am I required to personally guarantee the advance to my business?
A: No, but you must guarantee you are providing accurate information about your business and you are fulfilling our key contract terms.
