Jim Smyth spent the past 20 years with merchant services industry leader, First Data Corporation (FDC). He began his career as a successful sales agent and quickly became a “Top 5” Sales Person. In 1999 he had built his first sales team in Chicago and soon ranked among FDC’s top sales executives.
For the next 18 years, Jim had continue leadership success by building and rebuilding sales teams, establishing and nurturing bank partnerships, and growing sales exponentially. Jim led teams in the Midwest and Northeast regions for FDC until recently leaving in September 2014.
Shortly thereafter, Jim started building his own team by recruiting Merchant Services Professionals, assisting with their individual goals, and servicing new/existing clients as a Partner of MPX. Jim has always had the passion for helping salespeople and clients grow and/or succeed and will continue to build an Industry leading sales team throughout his career.
He attended Rutgers University, has his Master’s Degree in Business Management, and lives in Downingtown, Pennsylvania with his wife Tracy and 3 children, Julianna, Jameson, and Jaxen.
