MerchantPro Express (MPX) CEO Chris Briller had the opportunity to present to student athletes at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on career development. Briller is an alumni of NYIT where he played baseball and is a recent inductee into the athletics hall of fame. He gave some background on his experience as a minor league baseball player and how he transitioned into the merchant services industry, eventually launching MPX—a fast-growing credit card processing company headquartered in Melville, New York.
Briller offered insight into the challenges of entrepreneurship and finding your career path after college. He also spoke about the importance of seizing every opportunity and putting 100% of your effort into whatever you do in life.
Megan Leavy, VP of Talent Acquisition & Marketing, joined the CEO in offering helpful career advice, as well as giving valuable interview tips for the college juniors. She also gave an overview on MPX's internship program that is currently accepting college students who wish to gain industry experience and business knowledge.
