Sean O’Neil became a managing partner of MerchantPro Express after working as a payments consultant for five years. Mr. O’Neil’s deep network of industry executives at First Data, RBS WorldPay and Chase Paymentech is a major factor in MPX’s rapid growth. Mr. O’Neil has helped cement referral relationships with the National Basketball Association, South Shore Savings Bank and Genesee Regional Bank. He also built MPX teams in Boston, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Rochester, New York.
In addition to his work with MPX, Mr. O’Neil is the Principal Owner of One to One Leadership, a sales and management training company. He presents regularly on management, leadership, sales and workplace dynamics as well as workplace communication issues at national and regional conferences. Mr. O’Neil has been published or featured in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Selling Power Magazine, Executive Decision Magazine and Incentive Magazine.
Most recently, Mr. O’Neil co-authored a management book titled, Bare Knuckle People Management: Creating Success with the Team You Have—Winners, Losers, Misfits and All, which was published by BenBella Books in May 2011.
Mr. O’Neil received his undergraduate degree at the College of the Holy Cross. He also holds JD and MBA degrees from Duke University, and is a member of the New York bar.
